Registry

Having dated and lived together for a long time means that Andrew and I have most of the things that we need. If you would like to give us a gift, we would prefer it to be something home-made, that will remind us of you every time we look at it. We love you, which is why we have asked you to share this day with us.

A little backstory on the registry, which you might think is a little weird (since it is mostly made up of books).

When we moved from Hawaii to Washington, DC, we shipped all of our books over via USPS media mail. USPS media mail is VERY hard on boxes. Most of our boxes of books arrived looking like this:

Unfortunately, the one box that never arrived is the one we least wanted to lose - our box of scientific field guides, Ken Follett novels, and Bill Bryson travel books. As you probably know, we LOVE being in nature, and part of the fun is figuring out what kind of bird, animal, or plant we are looking at. Both Bill Bryson and Ken Follett are two of our favorite authors, so losing their books was also pretty sad.  If you'd like to help us replace them, we'd really appreciate it, and we'll think of you every time we are flipping through them.
